Georgia Tech continues to expand and evolve, setting the pace for innovation and technology — and the arts play an increasingly vital role at Tech, moving from the periphery to the center of our mission and vision for the future and advancing our strategic goals.

New academic programs at Georgia Tech will focus on the convergence of art and technology, developing students who are experts in creative practice, technical innovation, and the business of the entertainment industry. Students will collaborate with faculty, industry, and community partners to create new technologies in support of creative practice.

Informed by industry, student, and faculty interviews, as well as a survey of peer institutions, we envision the Arts + Tech program as an authentic, balanced integration of artistic practice and STEM, driven by an experiential, industry-relevant curriculum.
